Volunteer Projects
To provide a tangible showcase of my volunteer work, I’ve included a portfolio of my most recent partnerships. Take a moment to explore below, and reach out if you’re interested in learning more about what I have to offer.

STEM Casa Program
For Spring 2019, I have teamed up with 2 other teacher candidates as we taught students a module called "Light Up the Night" at Rio Vista Elementary. It enabled students to learn about circuits, electricity, and energy through an engineering design.
Ducks S.C.O.R.E. Program
The First Flight Field Trip exemplified such a unique way to take the science lesson outside of the classroom while incorporating other aspects such as mathematics, physical education, etc.
Rio Vista STEAM Night
Block 21 partnered with Rio Vista Elementary to produce a Family STEAM night for the community.

Telesis Academy
Blocks 21 & 22 have teamed up with 4th graders in Telesis Academy for the 2018-2019 school year. Events are held throughout the year along with the mentorship program.
Serve day
As a part of Serve Day, I helped lead and implement a Saturday School for Melrose Elementary.
Laos Mission 2018
With a partnership, I traveled to Thailand and Laos to volunteer at a school. There, we painted a mural and built stronger structures for the classrooms.

India Missions Trip 2019
For two weeks, I explored the beautiful country of Kerala with a group of teachers from all levels. I taught over 200 students each day for a week at a school in India. I loved singing wheels on the bus with my kindergarteners and teaching my 4th-grade students STEAM through hands-on experiences.
